| My Moondance yarns are spun from
the variety of natural coloured fleeces provided by the British
bred sheep in
my own multi-coloured Shetland Flock.
After lambing in the Spring and
before the full heat of the summer months arrive, the sheep are sheared by
my husband John.
Then I carefully look over them
and select, pick-clean and sort
them all by colour.
Finally, I pack them in large wool
'sheets' before sending them out to the Halifax Spinning Mill
in
Yorkshire where my fleeces are gently washed, carded and
spun for softness.
