Karen Forbes is another very
talented and dear friend of mine who I originally met when she came to
take weaving classes here.
An incredibly clever knitter and
designer, she also worked for a short time as a Rowan Design
Consultant up in Edinburgh. Then briefly she ran her own
children's knitwear business called 'Woolly Good', which she
began when her own children were quite young and she was
constantly knitting garments for them!
For now, Karen has returned to
her career, working as a biochemist by day and a knitter by
night but she has found the time to design this adorable little girl's
sundress for us. We will be including it on her
designs page with the pattern very soon and also are looking forward to
having more
designs from Karen in the near future.
