We have a few
knitting kits for adults and children which are ideal 'starter
packs' for beginners, or as fun gifts for your friends, even if
they are not experienced knitters. There are also a few more
complicated patterns which are suitable for the more
experienced knitter! Our kits are available from
£9.50 and all the patterns are £2.50 each if purchased on their
own.
The complete Kits are always
individually and carefully packed to order and include the pattern and the
yarn required to complete the project. Each pattern lists the quantity
and type of
yarn that is required to complete the project. The
lovely wooden needles from Brittany and Symfonie can be purchased separately,
so please see the
needles pages.
Please

I designed this waistcoat
modelled from an old favourite of mine with the
lovely natural horn buttons to fasten it. This unisex
style flatters both men and women, in a boxy shape
that suits everyone with or without an actual waist! I pinned it back
on the model shown, which is knitted in the large size. |

As a matter of
choice, its easy to
include the little pockets if you wish.
Shetland Yarn is required - either
my Moondance Soft Shetland DK or Moondance DK Tweed
Needles (sold separately): 3.5 mm circular needles for armhole (60 cm) and body edging (100 or 120 cm), and 4 mm straight needles for body.

This is a very easy to knit hat and
would suit a beginning or intermediate knitter. The idea came
from watching one

so they made a cute pair!

Moondance natural Shetland yarn, the pattern and a set of double
point needles, enough to make three hats! Available in
two colourways; 'Porridge' & 'Moorland' (as pictured) or 'Granite' & 'Mist'
(our two shades of gray).
Needles required (sold separately):4mm/U.S. 6
(40cm/16in) circular needles, and 4mm double-pointed for the top of

Here is the same mittens pattern
knitted in my tweed flecked yarn.
With small splashes of rust, green and turquoise
dyed wool being added to the natural fleece during the carding
process, they become scattered through the twist to produce an
attractive and rustic tweed effect to the yarn. |

two hats, it features a rolled edge and a ribbed edge, so you
