Manos del Uruguay
is owned by the craftswomen who set up their organization to
allow rural women in the country to work locally without the need
to leave their homes to find work elsewhere.
They are grouped into seventeen individual
cooperatives; which spin, dye, knit and produce yarns and
finished garments for sale throughout the world.
Manos
Del Uruguay wools and yarns are all made using natural
fibres sourced in South America.
